In 1993 I got a microphone
I plugged it in an old guitar amp in my parents home
I ran it through my Dad's computer with Sound Blaster Pro
and made tapes in the basement with that underground flow.
I went back and forth with EQ's and compression,
doing music theory with a scientific obsession
the world went from boom to recession.
I went from bedrooms to booths and pro sessions.
Meanwhile, I went a different direction,
went from passion for the music to purpose and connection.
It's a cut throat business I've learned so many lessons...
Instead of PR tricks we're making independent hits a multi-instrumentalist.
By no means am I perfect but what's driving me is purpose.
Making movements underground and causing earthquakes on the surface.
Yeah, and I can say that it was worth it.
